Garrards Transport specialise in IT moves, providing dedicated vehicles that are specific for the transportation of high tech, high value
computer equipment.
Delivery is to point of use rather than simply to the building where the equipment is to be located. Our crews will pack and unpack and physically position equipment. All packaging is removed from site if required.

We have extensive experience in all manners of Hi Tech relocations which include dealing with complex
data centre moves, encompassing the heaviest equipment in the industry to PC’s within the same office. We can liaise with multiple vendors and engineering divisions to ensure complete de-install and re-stall takes place to customer’s requirements.
We have been entrusted by most of the major banks and many blue chip companies to delivery their valuable equipment safely and on time, minimising costly downtime. We have experience in dealing with complex data centre moves encompassing the heaviest equipment in the industry and no job is too difficult for us.
We perform site surveys, draw up method statements and risk assessments. We can organise cranes, scaffolding, window, door, stair removals, liaison with local authorities for road closures and special permissions needed for industry specific jobs
All systems will be delivered via box – bodied vehicles. All our vehicles from 7.5 tonnes up to 26 tonnes GVW are air ride suspension and have high capability tail lifts from 500kgs up to 3000kgs. All Systems are secured within each vehicle utilising the inbuilt cargo restraint systems. Also carried is a tool box for removing packaging materials and de skidding large machines. Larger vehicles can be supplied with heated bodies.
Spreader plates are used when required for movement between the vehicle and computer room. We can provide plating, stair walkers, power barrows and scoots as required. All our drivers are fully trained in specialist equipment and have under gone safety and manual handling training. They are fully conversant with health and safety regulations concerning machine handling.
As IT movers our trained crew all wear full uniforms and are trained to recognise any risks or hazards at delivery sites. Most have level D security clearance.
